We'd like our trip to raise both awareness and funds for two organizations we care deeply about – the Marty Lyons Foundation and Hive Mind. John is on the board of the Marty Lyons Foundation, which benefits critically ill children aged 3-17 by fulfilling their wishes. Uniquely, the foundation sometimes considers second wishes for deserving children. Alex runs Hive Mind, a three-year program in Jacksonville, FL that empowers young people from low-income families to achieve college readiness and success.
